The Montgomery County Department of Police is a nationally accredited agency and the primary law enforcement agency for Montgomery County, Maryland. With more than 1,300 sworn officers, assisted by over 700 support personnel, the agency provides the full spectrum of policing services to a county of over 1 million people.

The department is currently looking for highly qualified police officer applicants who are ready to answer the call for a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement. Our police officers receive very comprehensive training in a brand new training facility and all uniforms and equipment are provided.
