Snow Service Areas

Montgomery County is divided into seven Snow Service Areas (Damascus, Poolesville, Gaithersburg East, Gaithersburg West, Bethesda, Silver Spring, and Colesville). Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) employees and contractors maintain County roads within these service areas. MCDOT reports the status of snow removal operations to the public by Snow Service Area.
