The following supplemental route helps veterans get to the Community Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC) on Gaither Drive, Chinese seniors get to the Chinese Cultural Center on Gaither Road, and those seeking food assistance to the Manna Food Center on Gaither Road.
The Route 63X Gaither Road – Provides additional service between Gaither Road & Gaither Drive and the Shady Grove Metro Station to augment Route 63 trips on weekdays. Service is now available from approximately 6:20 AM until 8:30 PM.. See Route 63X details (PDF). In May the two routes will be combined.

This is a BEST VALUE FOR FAMILIES, especially for youth with after school activities (band, cheerleading, sports, jobs, etc.). The card is $2 and you can add a monthly pass for $11 to travel on Ride On anywhere, anytime. Summer passes can be added for $18. Cash value can also be added to ride on the Metrobus, Metrorail, and other regional transit partner systems.

The request must identify the modification needed in order to use the service. Whenever feasible, please make the request in advance, before the modification is needed to access the service.
Within the scope of the ADA and reasonable modification, if Ride On denies a request it will make every effort, to the maximum extent feasible, to ensure that a person with a disability has access to, and benefits from, its services.
To request reasonable modifications based on a disability please use the Reasonable Modification Request Form. Ride On will review the request in accordance with its reasonable modification plan. Ride On strives to respond, in writing, to each request within 30 calendar days. All the information involved with this process will be kept confidential in the ADA Managers Office.
How to File an ADA Complaint
Montgomery County has adopted an internal grievance/complaint procedure providing for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any action prohibited by the U.S. Department of Justice regulations implementing Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Title II states, in part, that "no otherwise qualified disabled individual shall, solely by reason of such disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination" in programs or activities sponsored by a public entity.
