MCER NO. 14-21:   PROPOSED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES​ REGULATION
                                  Adding an Official Holiday 
 

SUMMARY:  This regulation amends Section 24 of the Montgomery County Personnel Regulations to add a new Official Holiday.  The proposed regulation will supersede Executive Regulation 16-13, in part.

MCER NO. 15-21:   PROPOSED OFFICE OF RACIAL EQUITY AND SOCIAL JUSTICE ​ REGULATION
                                     Racial Equity and Social Justice Action Plan
 

SUMMARY:  The purpose of the proposed regulation is to articulate details about the nature of the work required for the County and its department to meaningfully develop the capacities and processes necessary for applying a racial equity and social justice lens to the development and implementation of its policies, practices, and procedures.  The regulation outlines how departments can advance racial equity by incorporating community engagement, data collection and analysis, systems change work into policy development, resource decisions and service delivery.
