Volunteering is one of the best ways for young people to push themselves out of their comfort zone and experience new things while providing valuable contributions to others and their community.

TeenWorks volunteers are offered an array of opportunities to gain experience and build upon their knowledge, skills and abilities.

In addition, volunteers earn student service learning (SSL) hours for their service.

  • TeenWorks volunteers must:
  • Be a Montgomery County resident and at least 14 years old
  • Be in the 9th to 12th grade
  • Attend a TeenWorks volunteer orientation, complete volunteer registration package and be accepted
  • Have consent of a parent/guardian to participate in this volunteer program
  • Complete the interest form
    Submit Interest Form

I will remember my TeenWorks volunteer experience because it opened so many doors for me and helped me develop so many aspects of myself that I don’t think I would have discovered on my own.”
