February 2025 Mental Health Convening

In February 2025, I had the honor of hosting the Mental Health Convening, where County departments and agencies, nonprofits, and community partners gathered to discuss mental health in our County. A special thank you to Montgomery County Health and Human Services, Montgomery County Public Schools, EveryMind, Sheppard Pratt, and Story Tapestries for their presentations. As Council President, mental health was the focal point of my agenda because this is something that impacts us all, no matter our walk of life or background. Let’s work together to ensure that mental health is part of our everyday wellbeing. Read the Summary Report from this convening and share any reactions or suggestions you may have.
