Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) programs rely on the support of dedicated volunteers who serve as tax preparers, greeters, interpreters, schedulers, site coordinators and quality reviewers. All volunteers receive free training .
NEW! The Community Action Agency's VITA program is now recruiting volunteers for the upcoming tax season (mid-January through mid-April 2026). Orientation sessions for prospective volunteers will be held on Zoom on November 12th at 11 am and 6 pm. Please complete the volunteer registration form if you are interested in volunteering and a VITA staff member will follow up with you.
