Mid-County Regional Services Center

The Mid-County Regional Services Center is the local government office for Ashton, Aspen Hill, Brookeville, Capital View, Derwood, forest Glen, Glenmont, Kemp Mill, Kensington, Layhill, Norbeck, Olney, Sandy Spring, Upper Rock Creek, and Wheaton communities. The Regional Services Director serves the following functions:

  • Strengthens communication between the community and various agencies of County Government;
  • Identifies regional priorities and future service needs;
  • Recommends programs and policies tailored to the local community;
  • And oversees County services in downtown Wheaton performed by the Wheaton Clean and Safe Teams.

        The Montgomery County Community Toolkit is available by clicking above on "Community Engagement".  This toolkit, developed in 2014, contains resources and strategies to help civic associations and community groups strengthen the social fabric of their neighborhoods.  CHECK IT OUT!

NOTE:  Inclement Weather Policy for Boards - Mid-County Citizens Advisory Board & Wheaton Urban District Advisory Committee

If Montgomery County Public Schools open late, Board morning meetings are cancelled; if schools close early, or if afternoon or evening activities are cancelled, Board afternoon and evening meetings are cancelled; if schools are closed all day, all Board meetings for that day and evening will be cancelled.
