The Margaret Schweinhaut Center at Forest Glen is located in a residential area surrounded by attractive green spaces that includes a walking path and outdoor greenery. The Center offers a wide range of activities and amenities that are available to seniors, including entertainment, an excellent array of movies and travelogues, informational speakers, dances, theme events and wellness journeys to improve your overall physical and mental health.
We seek to be a warm and joyful place to visit, socialize, exercise, learn and enjoy! Our new paradigm is to "bring the outside in" surrounded by a lush yellow color and decorations to make you smile.
The community partnerships with Holy Cross and Suburban Hospitals along with numerous local non-profits and businesses allow the Center to broaden its programming and reach out to the community in a positive way.
Take a moment to read our monthly newsletter, The Schweinhaut Senior Center Happenings; it includes a calendar of events.
