African Heritage Month 2021: The Resiliency of our African Business Owners

On September 28, 2021, the Council held an African Heritage Month Commemoration hosted by Council President Tom Hucker and Councilmember Will Jawando. The theme for the commemoration celebration was "The Resiliency of African Businesses during the COVID-19 Pandemic." It included a video segment that honored the work and tenacity of African business owners from different sectors in Montgomery County.
