Advisory Workgroup on Strategic Planning for County Grants
The Montgomery County Council created the Advisory Workgroup on Strategic Planning for County Grants by Council Resolution 20-780 on April 22, 2025.

In 2023, the Anti-Hate Task Force (AHTF) recommended creating this portal and phone hotline as part of a plan to combat hate and bias in the County. The AHTF had a diverse group of County residents that were appointed by the Council under then Council President Evan Glass.

The Montgomery County Council created the Infrastructure Funding Workgroup by Council Resolution 20-745 on March 18, 2025. The workgroup’s goal is to recommend strategies to fund infrastructure and growth-related needs in the County.

On June 18 th, 2024, the Council approved a resolution to create the Montgomery County Sports Tourism Task Force that will help promote sports tourism and increase capacity and access to sports facilities for residents.
