Montgomery County Board of License Commissioners
The Board of License Commissioners is charged with regulating the sale and distribution of alcohol in accordance with the Alcoholic Beverages Article of the of the Annotated Code of Maryland and has full power and authority to adopt such reasonable rules and regulations as the Board deems necessary to enable it to effectively discharge the duties imposed upon it by the Alcoholic Beverages Article. The Board of License Commissioners issues licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages and may revoke or suspend licenses, or issue fines up to $20,000 for violations. If a license is revoked, the licensee may never hold a license in Maryland.

If an in-person hearing cannot be held, the Board will convene the hearing online via Microsoft Teams .
