Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Camps
TR camps are specially designed for individuals with disabilities, focusing on each camper’s unique strengths and abilities. Led by trained staff, these camps offer highly structured and adapted activities to ensure a fun and supportive experience. With a staff-to-participant ratio of 1:4, campers receive the attention they need to thrive.
To participate successfully, campers should be able to:
- Follow one- to two-step directions
- Make simple choices
- Perform basic self-care tasks with minimal assistance
All campers must be toilet trained. Please note that personal care assistance is not provided.

Experience an unforgettable summer of fun, friendship, and adventure! TR Summer Fun Zones are inclusive day camps designed for youth and young adults ages 6–21 with disabilities. Campers enjoy a variety of engaging and supervised activities in a supportive, structured environment. Each day brings a mix of arts and crafts, sports, games, music, and creative play, all tailored to promote social skills, independence, and confidence.
Campers are grouped by age — Youth (6–10), Mid (11–14), and Teen (15–21) — with an average staff-to-participant ratio of 1:4 to ensure personalized attention and support. Join us for a summer filled with discovery, connection, and fun at TR Summer Fun Zones!

Keep the summer fun going after Extended School Year (ESY)! TR Summer Fun Zones After ESY offer exciting afternoon camps for youth and young adults ages 6–21 with disabilities. Campers enjoy a supportive and structured environment filled with engaging activities that encourage social interaction, independence, and creativity.
Each day includes a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, and more—all designed to keep campers active, learning, and having fun!
Campers are grouped by age — Youth (6–10), Mid (11–14), and Teen (15–21) — with an average staff-to-participant ratio of 1:4, ensuring individual attention and a safe, positive experience for everyone.
Join us after ESY for a memorable summer experience filled with friendship, fun, and opportunities to shine!

Join the late summer fun at the Sprayground Park at Good Hope Neighborhood Recreation Center.
Activities include arts and crafts, music and dance, nature walks, gym games and daily afternoon splash fun.
Camp is a 1:4 staff-to-participant ratio, to be successful and supported while they explore and play.
Campers will dive into fun with daily swims, games, sports and creative crafts.
