Therapeutic Recreation Camps

Therapeutic Recreation (TR) camps are designed specifically for individuals with disabilities and focus on campers’ unique abilities. TR camps are facilitated by trained staff who provide highly structured adapted activities. TR camps generally have a one staff to four participant ratio. To be a successful, camper must be able to follow one/two step directions, manage their behavior and make simple choices. Campers must exhibit ability for self care with limited assistance and must be toilet trained. No personal care. 

TR Summer Fun Zone

TR Summer Fun Zones are designed specifically for individuals, ages 6-21, with disabilities. The camp is organized fun, with well-planned and supervised activities in a structured environment. Creative and fun crafts, sports, games, music and more. TR Summer Fun Zones will not meet on June 28 & July 4.

TR Splash Camps

A camp full of fun sports, arts & crafts, games, and splash park adventures. Staff ratio is 1:4. Ages groups are 6-12 & 13-21.

TR Camp Kayak

Teen Camp ages 13-18; learn the basics of how to kayak skills.

TR Camp Sea Kayak

Teen Camp - All are welcome for ages 13-18, learn beginner technics of being on the river and the bay. Sea kayaks are smaller seaworthy boat.

TR Summer Swim Zone

Individual with disabilities will enjoy games, sports, crafts, and daily swims. Locations are Germantown and Upper County only.
