Therapeutic Recreation Camps

Therapeutic Recreation (TR) camps are designed specifically for individuals with disabilities and focus on campers’ unique abilities. TR camps are facilitated by trained staff who provide highly structured adapted activities. TR camps generally have a one staff to four participant ratio. To be a successful, camper must be able to follow one/two step directions, manage their behavior and make simple choices. Campers must exhibit ability for self care with limited assistance and must be toilet trained.

TR Summer Fun Zone

TR Summer Fun Zones are designed specifically for individuals, ages 6-21, with disabilities. The camp is organized fun, with well-planned and supervised activities in a structured environment. We’ll keep this fun with creative and fun crafts, sports, games, music and more. TR Summer Fun Zones will not meet on July 5.
Participants must have completed kindergarten and be entering first grade to register. Proof of school attendance may be required.
