Montgomery County Recreation offers several youth volleyball leagues. Volleyball leagues of varying age levels for boys and girls are available in the fall, winter and spring.

Montgomery County Recreation offers a variety of youth volleyball leagues for ages 10-17 for both girls and boys. Our leagues on average run 7-8 weeks and include an evaluation day (not a tryout), 5-6 weeks of practices/matches, and a playoff day to end the season. See upcoming seasons, dates and locations below.
Teams are made up of 10 individuals. Our evaluation day is not a tryout, it is to help us make teams as even as possible. If you wish to request to be on the same team as another individual, you can do so at the evaluation day. After the evaluation day, teams will arrive each weekend for a two-hour time slot. In the first hour each team will be able to practice with their assigned coach. In the second hour each team will then play a three-game match against the opposing team.
Shirts are provided by the Department. All players will need to have closed toe shoes. Knee pads are recommended but not required.

Volleyball clinics are intended for new to intermediate players who want to develop and improve their skills in a supportive team atmosphere. Lessons emphasize sportsmanship, skill technique, hard work and fun.
