Meet Doug:

Doug has been with the Department of Recreation for 15 years. Prior to joining the Germantown Community Recreation Center, Doug worked with the Camps Team for eight years. Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. He received the Community Inclusion Award from the Arc of Montgomery County.

Doug was raised in Montgomery County and graduated from Wheaton High School. During college, he worked at the Silver Spring Boy's Club. Doug has three children who all attended Northwest High School in Germantown. He loves the beach, sports and has been in several local bands.
