Languedoc Wine Master Class for Licensees

ABS invites Montgomery County licensees to join us for one of three complimentary Languedoc Wine Master Classes offered on Monday, September 30, Monday, October 7 and Monday, October 21 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) offices, 201 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.

LanguedocAward-winning wine educator Robert Cavanaugh will lead a special tasting event designed for restaurants and wine bars on the trending region of Languedoc. You’ll enjoy sampling wines from crisp, citrusy Picpoul de Pinet, elegant rose, sparkling Limoux and blended reds... all categories that are currently selling very well. You’ll get special insight on maximizing this trending region, how to increase profit and selling tips.

Languedoc is the largest wine region in France offering an incredible diversity of wines and wine styles. The region is a leader in organic viticulture in France, accounting for over 30% of total organic production, as well as production of rosé wines. In fact, Languedoc surpasses Provence in volume of rosé wines produced. Languedoc wines have consistently shown exceptional growth in the U.S. market, further reinforcing the need for today’s sommeliers and buyers to have a strong understanding of this important category.

Languedoc wines offer incredible value, diversity, and quality that are perfect for menu additions. Best of all the training is free for Montgomery County licensees and their staff.
