What?
Fingerprinting is required for all license applicants and general managers.
If you've been fingerprinted in the past by LRE, you DO NOT have to be fingerprinted again. To confirm and approve, please contact Inspector Joe Cannon at 202-480-4023 or Inspector Brandon Epps at 240-263-1615.
Where?
The Alcohol Beverage Services offers electronic fingerprinting at the Licensure, Regulation and Education office, 201 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
When?
Fingerprinting is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:00-2:00 p.m. or by appointment by calling Inspector Joe Cannon at 202-480-4023 or Inspector Brandon Epps at 240-263-1615.
Bring your driver’s license or state-issued ID.
Fingerprinting Services are not available on County Holidays when the ABS office is closed.
Cost?
The $120 fee includes fingerprinting and processing. ABS accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.
To have electronic fingerprints transferred to the ABS from another provider, use authorization number 9000033556 and ORI number MD930120Z.
