Joann Leleck Elementary School Community Sidewalk Proposal

MCDOT presents for testimony the Oakview Community Sidewalk Proposal for the installation of 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalks, with a variable 0 to 3-foot-wide greenspace, along the following roadways in Silver Spring:

• North side (even-numbered homes) of Stateside Drive from Avenel Road to Stateside Court;
• South side (odd-numbered homes) of Stateside Drive from Avenel Road to Stateside Court.

Stateside Drive Sidewalk Public Meeting (Hybrid Format) – November 14, 2023

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is hosting a hybrid Community Meeting on November 14, 2023, at 6:30 PM to discuss the planned sidewalk along Stateside Drive from Avenel Road to Stateside Court. The sidewalk project is a part of the County’s Safe Route to School program to provide safe route to students walking and biking to Joann Leleck Elementary School. MCDOT encourages you to attend, share your input, and provide any suggestions that may better reflect your community’s need.
