Early Voting Operations Judge - Provisional (EVVOP-P) is primarily responsible for processing provisional voters. Located at or near the check-in station, the EVVOP-P assists with checking in regular voters.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process provisional voters
- Assist with check-in for regular voters
- Safeguard voted and unvoted provisional ballots
- Work as a team to close the early voting center and prepare the daily materials and documentation to be returned to the Board of Elections
- Assist as directed by the Chief Judges (or Center Manager)
- Minimum age - 18 years
- Completed required election day training
- Able to speak clearly, listen well and to be friendly and welcoming
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Able to follow procedures and written and verbal instructions
- Be willing to serve where assigned regardless of the distance from home
- If assigned to work on the first day of early voting, attend a pre-election meeting/set-up at your assigned early voting center
- Must commit to working election day and a minimum of two early votin days
