Early Voting Operations Judge - Provisional (EVVOP-P)/Same Day Registration is primarily responsible for processing provisional voters and same day registration voters.  Located at or near the check-in station, the EVVOP-P assists with checking in regular voters.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process provisional voters and same day registrants
  • Assist with check-in for regular voters
  • Safeguard voted and unvoted provisional ballots
  • Work as a team to close the early voting center and prepare the daily materials and documentation to be returned to the Board of Elections
  • Assist as directed by the Chief Judges (or Center Manager)
Requirements:
  • Completed election day training
  • Complete early voting training
  • If assigned to work on the first day of early voting, attend the mandatory pre-election meeting/set-up at the early voting center 
  • Able to speak clearly, listen well and to be friendly and welcoming
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Able to follow procedures and written and verbal instructions
  • Be willing to serve where assigned regardless of the distance from home
  • Minimum age - 18 years

                                         General Election 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
