Voter Early Banner
Voters may go to any early voting site in Montgomery County and cast a ballot. Early voting results are tallied on Election Night, just like votes cast on Election Day. If you vote early, you may not vote by mail or on Election Day.

Absentee Voting Deadlines

The deadline for receipt of a completed and signed absentee ballot application depends on how the voter wants to receive the blank ballot. Voters may request an absentee ballot online from the State of Maryland's Election website or download, print-out, and complete an absentee application.

For the 2018 Primary Election, your application must be received (not just mailed) by:
  • Tuesday, June 19, 2018, if you want to receive your ballot by mail or fax
  • Friday, June 22, 2018, if you want to download your ballot from the State’s website.
For the 2018 General Election, your request must be received (not just mailed) by:
  • Tuesday, October 30, 2018, if you want to receive your ballot by mail or fax
  • Friday, November 2, 2018, if you want to download your ballot from the State’s website
