MONTGOMERY COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

COURT DECISION: On March 15, 2022, the Court of Appeals postponed the upcoming primary election from June 28, 2022 to July 19, 2022. 
Notice of Action:  At its May 17, 2022 meeting, the Montgomery County Board of Elections will consider changes to polling places due to site availability.  Documents for the meeting can be reviewed on the Board's Meeting page.
CANDIDATE LIST UPDATED:  The list of candidates for Montgomery County Council has been updated to reflect redistricting.  You can visit this map to find out which Council district you will vote in for the 2022 election.

2022 REDISTRICTING

Important: Political district boundaries are changing! Election officials are getting ready to make changes to County, State, and Congressional districts. District boundaries are adjusted every ten years based on how the population changes. New district plans are not yet final, but they will be soon.  Learn more about redistricting and what it means for you here.

2022 Gubernatorial Primary Election Early Voting Dates/Times

Thursday, July 7, 2022, 7:00 am - 8:00 pm through
Thursday, July 14, 2022, 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

Voters may go to any early voting site in Montgomery County and cast a ballot. Early voting results are tallied on Election Night, just like votes cast on Election Day. If you vote early, you may not vote by mail or on Election Day.
