2018 Early Voting Centers Under Review

Early Voting Site recommendations for the 2018 Gubernatorial Elections
Board of Elections is accepting comments for the proposed 2018 Early Voting Centers for the 2018 election cycle. Suggestions of new sites not appearing on the list should be emailed to the Board. To view the list of recommended Early Voting sites Click Here.

Comments about the listed recommendations should be submitted in writing or notify Board to speak at the Board meeting.  Board will be accepting public comments at the June 19, 2017, July 17, 2017 and September 18, 2017 meetings. Visit the Public Comments process at:

2018 Proposed Polling Place Changes Under Review

The  recommended 2018 changes were reviewed by the Board of Elections at the Board meeting, Monday, July 17, 201 7. A dditional  2018  changes will be discussed at the Board meeting held on  September 18, 2017. To view the list of polling place changes Click Here.

Public Hearing

Montgomery County Board of Elections staff will conduct a public review of the sites under consideration for Early Voting in the 2018 Gubernatorial Elections. Public comment will be heard Saturday, September 23, 2017, 10:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. at the Montgomery County Executive Office Building Auditorium, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville, Maryland 20850.

2018 Early Voting Centers Under Review

Voters may go to any early voting site in Montgomery County and cast a ballot. Early voting results are tallied on Election Night, just like votes cast on Election Day. If you vote early, you may not vote by mail or on Election Day.

  • Primary Early Voting Dates: Thursday, June 14, 2018, 10:00am - 8:00pm to Thursday, June 21, 2018,  10:00am - 8:00pm
  • General Early Voting Dates: Thursday, October 25, 2018, 10:00am - 8:00pm to Thursday, November 1, 2018,  10:00am - 8:00pm

There are no Federal, State or County Elections scheduled in 2017 in Montgomery County Maryland.

The deadline for receipt of a completed and signed Absentee Ballot Application depends on how the voter wants to receive the blank ballot.

Voters may complete an    Absentee Application or complete an    online Voter Registration/online Absentee ballot delivery form from the State of Maryland Board of Elections website.

September 18, 2017: The Board agreed to include the following locations on the list of potential Early Voting Centers for the 2018 Gubernatorial Elections:

Clara Barton Neighborhood Recreation Center
Wheaton Art Center
Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center
