MCDOT recognizes that the County's expanding transportation system has far-reaching impacts. The way our streets are planned, the range of available transportation options, and the way projects are constructed and maintained influence our environment. 

Montgomery County’s Department of General Services has released the fiscal year 2018 Montgomery County Green Government Report that highlights MCDOT’s sustainable efforts, including enhancing bicycle mobility, bus commuting and smart parking in County garages.

This year’s GreenFest was on April 28 at Brookside Gardens and was a great success!  Hundreds of residents visited the MCDOT booth to learn more about what we’re doing to create an even more progressive transportation system. Learn more.
