Safe Routes to School Hero Image

Walking Wednesday events are held on Wednesdays starting in October and continue throughout the school year when school is in session. This is a celebration at the school. There is not a formal walk associated with these events. Students are encouraged to safely walk to school on these days. Walking Wednesdays are designed to encourage students (and parents) to get to school by walking instead of by car - in conditions where it is safe to do so.

When students arrive at school, they'll enjoy a fun celebration. Zeal will share safety tips and have fun giveaways and activities.
