Early Voting Same Day Registration (EVSDR) worker is responsible for registering and processing new voters. Located at the check-in station, the EVSDR may assist with checking in regular voters, and does not rotate to work any other station.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process new registrants 
  • Assist with check-in for regular voters
  • Work as a team to close the early voting center and prepare the daily materials and documentation to be returned to the Board of Elections
  • Assist as directed by the Chiefs and/or Center Manager
Requirements:
  • Complete all training
  • If assigned to serve on the first day of early voting, required to attend the mandatory pre-election set-up meeting the evening prior to the first day of early voting at your assigned early voting center and work as a team to set up the voting center.  Standard meeting time is 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm but may be adjusted if necessary.
  • Able to speak clearly, listen well and to be courteous to voters and fellow election workers
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Able to follow procedures; written and/or verbal instructions
  • Be willing to serve where assigned regardless of the distance from home
  • Minimum age - 18 years

Early Voting Payment: $250.00 (eper day)                        Training Payment: $50 (unless already trained)  
* Election Workers who previously served as an Election Judge will receive a $100.00 bonus for each Election Day and/or each Early Voting Day served during the 2024 elections.
Election Service Hours: 

Early Voting Day Eve - 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (set-up meeting).  Mandatory for those assigned to serve on the first day of early voting.

           Early Voting - 6:00 am - to closing (approximately11:00 pm)
