Early Voting Operations Judges – A and B (EVVOP-A/B) are trained to carry out the duties associated with each functional area in the early voting center.  The number of judges assigned to each center varies based on anticipated turnout.


  • Check in voters at the electronic pollbook
  • Issue ballots to voters
  • Escort voters to the voting area and, if asked, give instructions on the voting process, scanning unit and ballot marking device
  • Work as a team to close the early voting center and prepare the materials and documentation to be returned to the Board of Elections
  • Rotate and assist as directed by the Early Voting Center Manager or Chief Judges
  • Completed election day training for the current election
  • Completed early voting training for their assigned position
  • Willing to serve where assigned regardless of the distance from home
  • If assigned to work on the first day of early voting, attend a pre-election meeting/set-up at your assigned early voting center 
  • Must commit to working election day and a minimum of two early voting days
Early Voting Payment:  $80.00                                     Training Payment:     $25.00

                                        EVVOP-B    Primary Election 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm          General Election 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
