  • To request a replacement ballot if you make an error in marking your ballot, call 240-777-8500 or send email to [email protected] including your name, address, and date of birth. You can also request a replacement using the online request system.

If you request a ballot by mail, please vote that ballot. You can return your ballot by mail or at a Board of Elections drop box. Do not wait until Election Day.

If you request a ballot and then wait until Election Day to vote, you must either bring your completed ballot to a drop box or vote using a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots will not be counted until after Election Day, after we make sure you did not already vote.
