Agency Orientations

New organizations and new staff with existing organizations are welcome to join us for our monthly overview of our programs and website tools. Attendence required by MCPS for SSL guidelines.

Orientation Overview: 
You'll get an overview of programs and services, an introduction to using the online database and hints on ways to maximize volunteer recruitment. Organizations that engage high school or middle school students as volunteers will learn about the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Student Service Learning (SSL) program and requirements for community organizations that wish to show on our website as meeting SSL guidelines by MCPS.

Germantown Location: 

Upcounty Regional Services Center
12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown, MD 20874.
Directions: This is the corner of Rt. 118 and Middlebrook Road. From I-270 take exit 15 toward Germantown. Turn right onto Middlebrook Road, then turn left onto Century Blvd to access the parking lot. 
Parking: Park in the adjacent lot between DSW and the Exxon. 

Rockville Location: 
Carver Educational Services Center (CESC) 
850 Hungerford, Rockville MD 20850, Auditorium
Directions: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/boe/meetings/directions.aspx
Parking:  You can park anywhere in the lot outlined in RED.  You can park in other large parking lots around the building also, but won’t be close to the visitor entrance.
Follow the GREEN arrow to the door labeled MAIN ENTRANCE. The picture is looking at CESC from Hungerford Drive/Rockville Pike (355).
