MCPS SSL Orientation - Agency/Organization Training
New organizations and new staff with existing organizations are welcome to join us for our monthly overview of MCPS guidelines for SSL and MCVC website tools. MCPS requires attendance at initial registration with the Volunteer Center and at least once every three years.

You'll get an introduction to using the online database and hints on ways to maximize volunteer recruitment. Organizations that engage high school or middle school students as volunteers will learn about the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Student Service Learning (SSL) program and requirements for community organizations that wish to show on our website as meeting SSL guidelines by MCPS. Training Overview:
Training participants will learn more about how to use the Volunteer Center website as a resource to post volunteer opportunities and recruit volunteers.
