Volunteer to Get the Entire County Vaccinated!
The Volunteer Center and Office of Community Partnerships are working with Montgomery County's Health Department and a broad network of community organizations to ensure all in our community receive facts about the safety and importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, information about how to pre-register for a County vaccine appointment (as well as other options), assistance with this process for those who need help, and transportation to the appointment. Here's how you can get involved:Become a Community Ambassador
Attend County-sponsored community events and:- Share vaccine information and resources
- Answer vaccine-related questions
- Host vaccination information tables
- Distribute COVID kits
- Offer pre-registration assistance
Join the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC)
In addition to medically licensed volunteers, MRC needs volunteers for:- Vaccine Site Support
- COVID Testing site support
Provide Transportation
Help vulnerable residents, including seniors, get to their vaccination appointments by volunteering with:RESOURCES FOR COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR VOLUNTEERS
- Sign up for your one required Information Session. (Required for all Community Ambassador volunteers prior to staffing events.)
