Water Safety Poster Contest Information
Calling all young artists from grades K-12!
Create a poster that highlights the importance of water safety for our inaugural poster contest.
The top posters in each age group will be awarded:
- First Place: Annual pool pass
- Second Place: Youth 12 Admission Punch Pass
- Third Place: Two free family admissions to any Montgomery County Recreation Aquatic Center
Programs
Montgomery County Recreation offers everything you need including instruction, competition, fitness, safety and fun. Year-round aquatics programs are available for all ages. Check out our extensive offerings below.
- Competitive Programs Take on fierce competition in one of Montgomery County Recreation’s competitive swim programs.
- Diving Diving consists of a diver jumping from a springboard or platform and performing acrobatic maneuvers before plunging into water.
- Safety Training Montgomery County Recreation offers classes in lifeguard training, pool operation, and CPR/FRP/AED.
- Scuba SCUBA stands for "Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus," which is exactly what you’ll learn to use in our programs.
- Swim Lessons Our aquatic facilities offer instruction for all ages and swimming abilities.
- Water Fitness We have a variety of programs that offer workouts to help you get fit and feel great, while building cardiovascular fitness and strength.
