2022 GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION -  CANDIDATE FILING

Candidate filing for the 2022 Gubernatorial Primary Election begins on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 and filing continues through Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  The following contests will be filed at the Montgomery County Board of Elections office by appointment only:
  • County Executive
  • County Councilmembers
  • State’s Attorney
  • Clerk of the Circuit Court
  • Register of Wills
  • Sheriff
  • Montgomery County Board of  Education (Districts 1, 3, 5 and At-Large)
  • Republican Central Committee
  • Democratic Central Committee

  • Primary Election - June 28, 2022
    • Early Voting - June 16th - June 23rd

Voter Early Banner
Voters may go to any early voting site in Montgomery County and cast a ballot. Early voting results are tallied on Election Night, just like votes cast on Election Day. If you vote early, you may not vote by mail or on Election Day.

General Election Early Voting Dates/Times

Monday, October 26, 2020, 7:00 am - 8:00 pm through
Monday, November 2, 2020, 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

The eleven early voting locations will be open on Election Day November 3, 2020 from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.
