Electrical Permit Revision Permit Process

Should an electrical permit require revision once issued, this may be requested by completing the revision process within DPS eServices. If you require further assistance, please send an inquiry to DPS.Electrical-Mechanical@montgomerycountymd.gov. You may call 3-1-1 in Montgomery County or 240-777-0311 out of the County limits.

Permit application revisions after submission by the applicant are subject to the minimum revision fee in addition to any additional fees for equipment added at that time. Please see our fee schedule for additional information about the cost of your electrical permit revision.
Once the revision request has been submitted, notification by DPS staff will be sent within one-to-two business days to the email on record with instructions to log into ePermits, pay the addition fee(s) due, and print the revised permit. If for any reason you do not see the response in a timely fashion, please send a follow-up inquiry to DPS.Electrical-Mechanical@montgomerycountymd.gov or contact one of our permitting staff for additional assistance using our staff directory at the bottom of this page.
