DPS Licenses and Certificates
Per Governor’s order, licenses that have expired between 3/12/2020 through the end of the State of Emergency will be allowed to obtain electrical permits. DPS encourages licensees to maintain their licenses active at all times. DPS is currently accepting license renewals packages.

Licenses
All electrical licenses are now issued by the State of Maryland. For more information contact the Maryland State of Board of Master Electricians and the DPS Policy Memo. The Homeowners is currently being revised due to the changes.
